Rayyan's Daily Tutor ("the App") is an educational app designed for children. We take privacy seriously, especially regarding children's data.

Information We Collect

• Teacher Letters: Text or photos of weekly teacher letters that parents/guardians submit to generate lessons. These are processed by AI to create educational content and stored on our servers to enable syncing between devices.
• Learning Progress: XP points, streaks, and lesson completion data stored locally on the device and on our servers for syncing.

How We Use Information

• To generate personalized daily learning quests from teacher letters
• To track and display learning progress, streaks, and achievements
• To sync lessons and progress between parent and child devices

Data Storage & Security

Lesson data is stored securely on our servers to enable cross-device syncing. Learning progress is stored both locally on the device and on the server. We use industry-standard security measures to protect all data.

Third-Party Services

We use OpenAI's API to process teacher letters and generate educational content. Text from teacher letters is sent to OpenAI for processing. Please refer to OpenAI's Privacy Policy for their data handling practices.

Children's Privacy

The App is designed for use by children under parental supervision. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond the learning progress described above. The Admin mode is PIN-protected so that only parents/guardians can submit teacher letters.

Data Retention & Deletion

Lesson data is retained on our servers until deleted by the parent/guardian through the Admin dashboard. Local data can be cleared by uninstalling the app. To request deletion of all server-side data, please contact us.

No Advertising or Tracking

The App does not contain any advertising, analytics trackers, or third-party tracking tools.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
